IERC has provided educational and training opportunities for students through our internship program, as well as state and federal agency personnel involved in research and conservation projects.

We perform ecological research, and compile, organize, and disseminate the results of this research in order to improve scientific knowledge and advance the management and conservation of wildlife species and the overall ecosystem.

IERC’s ecology research projects are interdisciplinary and typically incorporate a significant field component into the study design
